Guest author at ARKS Diyar

Abdulrahaman Kanoo School Diyar (ARKS) hosted Ms Muna Rabieh, the author of bestselling books about mindfulness: differences, importance of dealing with emotions. As quoted by Amazon-“ Muna writes stories that address pertinent social issues in the hopes that they will help children navigate difficult situations. Her stories are often layered and cover a variety of topics in a light-hearted manner. Common themes in her books are bullying, discrimination, animal cruelty, self-image, and projection.”

The favourite characters with the students were the angry octopus and the zebra with blue strips. The books were read to the students within the Innovation Lab and have been purchased as a resource for the school. An opportunity for parents to purchase copies were also made available, and the school eagerly await the release of her latest children’s novel
