The Concrete, Pictorial, Abstract (CPA) approach is a powerful method for teaching mathematics. It fosters students’ profound understanding of mathematical concepts. During a workshop tailored for ARKS parents, they were introduced to this approach. The session featured an interactive presentation and engaging hands-on activities using manipulatives. Parents also received guidance on supporting their children based on their unique learning styles. The ultimate aim was to enhance conceptual understanding and familiarise parents with the ARKS approach to teaching mathematics.
