Abdulrahman Kanoo School Diyar (ARKS) held its first of several informative evenings this week for parents and staff. The evening saw the regional team of OIC attending the school to speak at the open evening. As the only Champion School for Oxford International Curriculum (OIC) from Nursery to Year 9, we are committed to providing our students with a world-class education that fosters critical thinking, creativity, and global awareness. The evening provided parents with an in-depth understanding of the OIC, its innovative approach to learning, and how it aligns with our school’s mission to nurture well-rounded, confident learners. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet with our dedicated OIC educators, participate in interactive sessions, and ask questions about the curriculum’s benefits and implementation.
The OIC is designed to prepare students not only for academic success but also for the challenges of a rapidly changing world. With a strong emphasis on inquiry-based learning, the curriculum encourages students to explore subjects deeply, think critically, and develop skills that are essential for the future. Speaking about the event, Mrs. Reem Matar- Head of Admissions noted, “We are proud to be the only Champion School for the Oxford International Curriculum in Bahrain. This event is a wonderful opportunity for parents to learn more about how we are equipping our students with the tools they need to thrive in a global society.”
