At Abdulrahman Kanoo School Diyar (ARKS), Buddy Reading brought students together across year levels to celebrate the joy of books and shared learning.

Older students paired up with younger readers, taking time to read aloud, listen, and connect through stories. The activity fostered not only reading fluency and confidence, but also a sense of kindness, mentorship, and community. 

Through Buddy Reading, our students were reminded that stories are even more powerful when shared — building friendships, empathy, and a lifelong love of learning.
