Bahrain’s National Day Celebration

Abdulrahman Kanoo School Diyar proudly marked Bahrain’s National Day with a vibrant, immersive 1970s-themed celebration that highlighted the school’s core values and deep respect for national heritage. Students embraced the spirit of the decade by wearing retro Bahraini attire, showcasing their individuality while paying tribute to the Kingdom’s rich cultural identity.

The event featured a series of engaging cultural experiences designed to inspire curiosity and aspirational excellence. Students enjoyed traditional Bahraini activities, including sampling classic dishes such as kebab and gaymat, taking photographs with a falcon, engaging with an oyster opener to collect pearls, and watching traditional bread being crafted live on campus. These hands-on experiences provided meaningful opportunities for students to connect with and appreciate Bahrain’s heritage.

Adding to the lively atmosphere were food vendors, henna artists, face painters, and a themed photobooth, offering students and staff a joyful and memorable celebration.

The National Day event served as a reflection of ARKS Diyar’s commitment to culture, creativity, and community—values that continue to guide the school’s mission and learning environment.
