Pink Day

Abdulrahman Kanoo School – Diyar is proud to officially support Think Pink Bahrain, a registered NGO that has been serving and empowering the community for over 21 years.

As part of the school’s Think Pink Day, students and staff came together wearing a touch of pink to show solidarity and raise funds in support of the Charity’s ongoing initiatives. Speaking on behalf of the Student Council, who were pivotal in the day’s event, “Leading the bake sale gave us the opportunity to make a positive difference and stand together for an important cause. It was inspiring to see our school community come together to support awareness and promote kindness through action. We hope our efforts encourage others to take small steps toward spreading hope, empathy, and strength.”

The event was further highlighted by the presence of the School’s President and Founder, who met with female staff members, mothers, and female guardians for an open discussion on health awareness and the importance of proactive education in the community. A total of 101 staff members and parents attended the session, reflecting the strong commitment of the ARKS community to promoting wellbeing and awareness. The Trustees across the ARKEDU group have also endorsed Think Pink Bahrain’s free mobile application, iCheck, available in Arabic and English, which encourages regular self-checks and provides valuable breast health information.
