ARKS Student Council Formally Established to Inspire Leadership and Unity Among Students

Abdulrahman Kanoo School Diyar (ARKS) today announced the formal establishment of the ARKS Student Council, a pivotal platform that aims to foster leadership, collaboration, and unity among the students of the school. The initiative is driven by the belief that student engagement and participation are vital components of a vibrant educational community. As an institution committed to academic excellence and holistic development, ARKS recognises the significance of empowering its students to take an active role in shaping their educational experience.
Following on from our late Founders mission, the school is grounded by its core values: Aspirational, Respect, Kindness, Excellence, Diversity, Uniqueness. The new student council, as do all students and staff, work within these values during all aspects of student life. The primary objective of the ARKS Student Council is to provide a representative body that amplifies the voices of our diverse student population. By serving as a bridge between students, faculty, and administration, the council will ensure that student perspectives are considered in decision-making processes that impact the wider student body.

Speaking on behalf of the school, Ms. Noble Norbert (Primary School Coordinator & Homeroom Teacher) , who was the Master of Ceremonies for the event noted, “The ARKS Student Council comprises elected representatives from various academic disciplines and grade levels. These representatives are now tasked with representing the interests and concerns of their student constituents, while working collaboratively to achieve the council’s objectives. We are encouraged by all the candidates who applied and were interviewed by the leadership panel. This team possesses a passion for leadership, a commitment to service, and a desire to make a positive impact on campus life. They are ARKS first student Council- congratulations”.
